Onetwo Brewery
Onetwo Brewery is an emerging craft beer brewery from Timișoara (Romania), founded in 2019 by two friends with the aim of pushing boundaries in the Romanian beer world. They produce high-quality beers in small batches and have seasonal and limited-edition releases. Their wide range spans from a „simple“ Kölsch to barrel-aged stouts, juicy New England IPAs and fruited sour beers. Open-minded, curious and without limiting themselves, they play and experiment with uncommon ideas and aren’t afraid to fail sometimes. The label design goes hand in hand with their approach of creating new and unorthodox beers with fresh, innovative and unexpected combinations of diverse ingredients. Such as lovage and lemon, grapefruit and thyme or cucumber with lime.
As part of the one two idea, all new creations are consecutively numbered. They brew the beers alternately, one guided by the idea of one founder, the next one by the other’s recipe. Based on this procedure, the labels change from black to white and back to black, and so on. If a beer is brewed more than once, it receives a new label without a number and is added to the core range of the Onetwo assortment. The beers number 01 to 25 were bottled; starting from number 26, all subsequent brews are canned.
(Onetwo Brewery also has a small taproom on a vibrant square in a bustling neighborhood, perfectly matching their attitude towards brewing. In their bar they are offering a rotating lineup of distinctive beers from 14 taps.)
